About Me

I have lived in the Midwest most of my entire life.  Born in Gary, Indiana and grew up near Francesville, Indiana, where I lived with my family until I graduated from high school.  Moved to Wisconsin where I went to college and raised my family.

I began quilting in 2005 under the influence of my mother-in-law.  I thought I could never make quilts as beautiful as hers, but determination, practice and time turned me into a quilter.

Today I make quilts, bags, pillows, as well as other things.  I teach classes in my home to my friends, and my classes have outgrown my living room.  I am a quilt instructor and Joann Fabrics in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Now my son is in college and I am now an empty nester.  With my husband traveling 70% of the time, I hope to spend a little more time to try to flex my quilting skills.  I would love to attempt some free form art quilts.
